MOAT Appointed by InterTradeIreland to Support Delivery of New SupplyChain+ Programme

MOAT has been appointed by InterTradeIreland to support delivery of SupplyChain+, a new three-year programme focused on helping SMEs strengthen capability and improve access to larger supply chain opportunities across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The programme will support SMEs operating across various sectors including, Pharmaceutical Med Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace/Space and Tradeable Services through workshops, operational assessments, mentoring and targeted capability development.

Built around two connected programme streams, SupplyChain+ will focus both on strengthening SME operational capability and supporting engagement with larger organisations and multinational supply chains. The programme is designed to help businesses better understand buyer expectations, procurement requirements and the operational standards increasingly needed to compete within larger supply chains.

The programme will also support stronger collaboration between SMEs and larger organisations operating across Ireland and Northern Ireland, helping businesses identify opportunities, strengthen readiness and build long-term capability.

Aidan Doherty, CEO at MOAT, said:

“We’re delighted to be supporting InterTradeIreland on the delivery of SupplyChain+. This programme comes at a critical time when supply chains are under increasing pressure, procurement requirements are becoming more demanding, and buyers are placing greater emphasis on resilience, compliance and sustainability.

For SMEs, success is no longer determined by capability alone. It’s about capability and credibility. Large organisations are not simply buying products and services, they are buying confidence, reliability and reduced risk.

SupplyChain+ is designed to help businesses strengthen both their capability and credibility, improve operational readiness, and position themselves more effectively to access new opportunities within cross-border, public sector and multinational supply chains. By helping SMEs demonstrate what buyers need to see, the programme will support sustainable growth, stronger local supply chains and increased economic opportunity across the island of Ireland.”

MOAT brings extensive experience across supply chain optimisation, operational improvement and digital transformation, working with organisations across manufacturing, engineering, life sciences and regulated sectors throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.

More information on SupplyChain+ activity and future engagement opportunities will be announced over the coming months.
